Army of Darkness - the Medieval Dead

I first saw this in the cinema - by the end of it I was laughing so much I could barely stand. Corny, chessy and requiring stratospheric suspension of disbelief, but it now has a prized place in my DVD collection. Thoughts anyone?

Strawhead - can anyone help me find their music?

I'm urgently trying to get hold of some of this folk group's recordings - can anyone offer any advice/help. Would be willing to pay well for any CD/tape making people might be able to do.

Thanks

What especially interests me is how that drama and mysticism (or rather the need for it) faded from the minds of ordinary people between the end of the fifteenth century and the middle of the seventeenth. There is plenty to sugeest that in fact it didn't and that this was something recognised and un...

This August I'm dipping a toe into ECW re-enactment by attending the 'It's Warre" event at Arreton Manor. I'll probably end up portraying someone from the Parliamentary foot regiment of Sir John Lee - commanded at that time by Colonel Carne. Can anyone recommend sources for finding out more about EC...

Gyrth: Good we may be, but not that good... the buildings were put up over a three week period by Dave Brown (Streets of Time) and his people. Guthrie:

Adjectives - point taken. The first part of the story was actually written during the summer of 2002 and looking back over it now makes me wince slightly. When I can, the whole lot will be reviewed so the prose is streamlined a little.

Paragraph breaks - good point, will do.

Thanks

For those of you who can be bothered to read more - here's the next installment: Through the still swirling snow a blue and white banner became visible and beneath it a tight knot of men in full plate armour. ‘sh**!’ yelled Strugge, ‘that’ll be Somerset himself.’ Turning over his right shoulder he b...

WoTR story

People's thoughts on this (posted under my own name this time) would be welcome. This is eventually intended to be a novel. In the cold greyness just before dawn Gervaise struggled upwards out of a fitful sleep wracked with the pain of his stiff and aching muscles. The blankets in which he had been ...

Iain - if you're not being paid then I understand your point of view. However, if you are being paid (either individually or as a group), then you have a duty to ensure that the visiting public get something out of seeing you and the rest of DD in action. This could be educational, entertainment or ...
