Re: REMINDER - NMTF Historic Traders Branch AGM

whos trying to get money out of a defunct charity ? where did that come from ? wasnt talking about Caldicot either as it wasnt a show being run for profit , as for finding persons who think they can make a quick buck from organising a show / market being hard to find, not that difficult TBH m8 and y...

Re: REMINDER - NMTF Historic Traders Branch AGM

But the organiser has invested both more time and, most significantly, probably much more of his own money, in laying on the event unfortunatly m8, alot of people who organise the smaller end of the reenactment shows are bloody useless when it comes to advertising their shows, its got so bad that m...

Re: REMINDER - NMTF Historic Traders Branch AGM

Holding the meeting 30 minutes after the official closing time makes it impossible for us to attend. ditto what Jackie and Noctule say, it simply aint possible for me to do it after standing and talking all day and I would say thats the same for the majority that dont turn up, surely Sunday 10 am /...

Hot Meal Delivery ?

As we are going to be selling an array of dried wholesome meals how would you like to have a menu dropped off at your stall on Friday then meals delivered at dinner time / tea time over the weekend ? we will only be doing em to order so as not to get embroiled in the hassles of running a food stall,...

Re: REMINDER - NMTF Historic Traders Branch AGM

good point, how many historic traders are there in the historic branch of the NMTF ? and how many of them attend Tewks , it seems to me that only medieval traders will be there but arent there traders in each historical period who dont A.get a chance to vote B. know the AGM is at Tewks ? though Im q...

Re: Anyone trading at the Bishops Palace in December

Re: Anyone trading at the Bishops Palace in December

I agree with what you say about the center of town being "to busy" if your in the middle of the crowd you cant actually get through the press of people to the stalls, I got stuck in the middle of a slow moving tightly packed mass, twas bloody awful, and then when Suzie was having a wander around the...

Re: Anyone trading at the Bishops Palace in December

Talking to Chas we both agree that the weekend itself (Saturday and Sunday) is going to be very busy, its the Thursday evening and Friday that really need the advertising, Im confident its going to be a cracking w/end but the first 2 days were a little quiet last year which is why we want to help wi...

Just spoken to Chas again, they can put up £100 and their fairly confident about attendee's over the w/end but he said drumming up visitors for the Thursday evening and Friday are the ones that would be best and I agree, cos they will tell their friends, return visit etc :) so hows about asking on t...
