this forum is a bit smaller than the AA so replies are slower, also most people are getting ready for another big event here and Torm is a way off yet.

Mr G will post a pic of the cheapest and easiest sort, a 56 lb weight with no hole in the bottom and plain tapering sides and no handle visible when upside down ( a few of them look reasonable ). alternatively I can make or obtain almost any shape you want, the more material and work needed the more...

I could fabricate a l ook a like anvil that would work and look like an earlier anvil and it would not cost a huge amount, someone here sent me a link recently to a very nice armourers anvil. I already make some anvils that though they dont look like a proper one work quite well. you want a lump anv...

dont know about who does what tent styles but generally I would recommend both vic james and past tents though there are many other good makers around too. avoid some of the tents imported from places like india, they can be bought cheaply but will cost you more to then go and buy a decent one as well

I have got a nice little peter wright forged anvil and you are not having it ( itss my preciousss ).
I do make some but they are not authentic at all ( but they work ok ) and are light enough and cheap :thumbup:
