After nine years in re-enactment and tried various ways...I have found to simply make some holes along the bottom of your arming jacket and tie your legs to that..Theres alot less strain on your body doing it this way... :D

My crest is actually made of plastic...but don't tell anyone! I think the norm for crests might well have been leather over a wire frame (cuir bouille): strong enough, but light also. SoF are not particularly reccomended. A lot of the time you have to re-purchase some time later as it doensn't look good next to other repro. Pegasus, at a push WPG. What sort of kit are you going for? Battledress or KD? I know some decent dealers for French stuff too. K You cant really make a stat...
