Oh, and if anyone would like to introduce us to the Badgie who treated the whole site to reveille at 7am on both mornings, we'd LOVE to meet him. The response from one of the guys in the Viking camp was class: "If you don't shut up... I'm gonna stuff that trumpet up your ar5£!" I lay in my tent and...

Utterly fantastic, and certainly the best Roman period going...! Very kind of you sir (I'll put the cheque in the post today) We'd never claim such a thing though, after all a group is only as good as its last show. We certainly offer the best sexual counselling service in re-enactment for me...

Absolutely agree M. There seems to have been friction on most of the feature films we've been on between the armourers & British costume depts and the 'big names' in principal actor's wardrobe... who tend to be people that disregard all the hard work and advice of the many people on these projects t...

Matt - I think I know the same bloke who worked on KA. He just shut his gob & took the money. I don't have a problem with most films - as with films like Gladiator , Ridley Scott was honest & said in a 1999 interview (paraphrased): "It's not a documentary, it's a fantasy loosely based on some factua...

Not an event... it's a film  We don't normally attend events like that. But - If a film director pays us we'll wear whatever they put us in (even gimp gear if the money's right  ). Because then the money goes to paying for kit that is accurate to a specific period. & if the film's any goo...

Not blackened... the armourer had put Brasso metal polish on the helmet, then went home sick with the flu! He returned after 2 weeks... to find that it had eaten into the metal like 100 years had passed, he was going to sand the whole thing to a mirror finish... but I turned up at his workshop just ...

Excellent Picture Eyemo (Brilliant film too)

One of our lads (Sillicus) on the last day of location shooting in Neil Marshall's new film Centurion we finally wrapped last week!

It was a very demanding shoot - most of our scenes were marching and/or combat!

Cracking good time had by all though!
