I particularly like the back story in Antwerp, shows a connection to the continent that people some times tend to forget when lookinfg down the wrong end of the telescope of time. Hmm needs some fleshing out though. That's possibly were I might be infected with the new religion, fire brand stuff. G...

Hi Fox Just back from playing Kentwell. 8) Please do not take anything I have said as discouragement. I am keen to get a discussion going to look at all the options. Most of my events are medieval so joining EMA should not be a chore for me. The trouble is that, I may then become or be seen to be, p...

Hi
I'm not sure if Druid does them or not. I once spotted the brass crook in an antiques place in Newark and was sorely tempted.

I also have some chasubles for sale !!!!

If you wish I will try to remember to bring them to Berkley. (I'm not at Tewkesbury)

Pete and Duke
May I offer my appologies
This is the the third year that I have not secured a place at tewkesbury so cannot attend the AGM. I think it is time to move it to another event that does not limit the number of traders and I would propose a motion to do so.

HI Fox I think in principle it is a great idea for some traders. In the past I have shied away from joining groups because I do not want another set of regulations over and above: 1). My principles 2). What my wife says 3). What the organisers lay down If traders participate in organisations they ge...

There are different sorts of traders and this has no doubt been well rehearsed elsewhere but seeing this about traders then I will repeat it as part of a discussion: There are traders who: a). Do it to fund their hobby b). Who make all or part of their living There are traders who: c). Are entirely ...

Thanks Martin
All those things are covered plus ideas for getting the local community involved. This is very important as far as word of mouth is required.

But what it is you will have to wait and see!!!!

Hi Martin, good point.

I'm working on a set of organisers notes. It's a sort of Magnum Opus mainly based on marketing.

It should be ready in about 100 years

However any suggestions for inclusions would be more than welcome.

If its good enough for Leonardo Da Vinci it should be good for you Martin!! I used to keep a notepad by the bed. Just jotting down the main points got them out of my head. Such leaflets in my experience get wet and grubby or are blown all over the field or both. Then they are not very pleasant to look at. How ma...
