C18th ladies posh frocks

Hello can anyone help me? I'm trying to find out information regarding posh frocks between 1780 and 1810 (ish). I've been given some titles regarding good ref books, and i've some knowledge of informal dresses and styles but i'm not sure of the dresses that would be worn to balls, theatre, etc. Stuf...

if i'm doing this incorrectly please bear with me :? Does anyone know of any good books on posh frocks from 1780 to 1810? I'm not just looking for styles, but fabrics and colours used.
