I am making up a 1750 uniform of the 62nd foot I missed this when it was first posted, but would be interested to know if you've gone for a '2/4th' or '62nd' uniform for the 1750's? the uniform is for an event in Carrickfergus Castle when the French attacked 1759/60. Military Lace

Does anyone know any UK suppliers for worsted lace/braid used on 1750 and 1770 redcoat uniforms. I am making up a 1750 uniform of the 62nd foot and don't know who to speak to about it. Any help would be great.

Does anyone know of any armourers that are running workshops for beginners type courses? I have heard that Á Plaisance sometimes do.
