Cheers for the replies, most interesting! Venue isnt an issue, looked at a hall of some 5000 sq metres the other day, Warwick Exhibition Centre is 2000 sq metres (approx) just to give you a scale comparison. It is also set up for large events with very large crowds expected. All traders of all perio...

Re-Enactors Markets

There are obviously various "markets" around the country (talking the "closed season" as it were)
What would everyone think about having one larger market?

Centrally located, good facilities, good transport links etc

Would love to hear your thoughts

There are so many descriptions/pictures on this subject that it is really hard to know what is correct! Belshazzar's feast shows the "lord" eating from bowls whilst his guests eat off what look like trenchers! Various reports state that when on a hunt, his servants would load a cart with tables, tre...

mortimers cross

Weve had 2 post dated cheques from traders, wishing to join us in September. They just informed us they were post dated so I've filed them until the nearer the time.
I appreciate the trader may cancel nearer the time but I tend to believe that they will turn up!

The one thing we have in our favour (i.e re-enactors) is that were quite a friendly bunch and will try our utmost to help groups out with events to ensure that events cont...
