Medieval in Croatia?

I am going to Split, Croatia next week, and I was thinking I could extend my medieval wardrobe with some more armour, clothing or leather goods.

Anybody been there, or browsed some webpages?

Thank you for your feedback Jim! I`m a little unclear on the dating on arming doublet, when did they start using it? I am supposed to be a mercenary around 1397-1412, but if it fits in to that timeperiod, maybe I should modify my new jacket? I have never had any problems that I know of with the thic...

I have two leather straps from each plate, connected to a broad belt. Some members of my group have tried the "vest-approach" with good results....

Light kit at Kungahälla Medieval festival

Hi there! I just wanted to show off with a picture of me from Kungahälla Medieval festival outside Gothenburg in Sweden.

This is the light kit I use when fighting and walking around with no intentions of breaking a sweat.

Communications Reciever type PCR - info?

Hello!

I found a radio just like this on my old folks attic. Is there any interest in it, or is it just a toss/donate to the local museum? Are they common? I am usualy into 139x-reenactement, so this is not my leauge.

Just to let people know for the future, the swords from armouronline are really heavy, and not that durable. At least they were not 4 years ago, and as far as I can se nothing have changed since then.

end of note.

Cauldron and cresset/fire stand!

Èllu! Does anybody know where to get a large cauldron? Something that would fit at least 1,5 gallons. I would like the kind where several plates are riveted together and meet at the middle. Also, a nice cresset/fire stand/your name here. This would also be used for cooking aside from light and heat,...
