FS past tents std bergundian
Hi All, We are selling our Past Tents Blue and White standard bergundian tent because we have bought a new one. It`s approximately 15 years old but I have owned it for about 12 years with no issues. It is completely functional and usable but, as with all second hand tents, may benefit from a squirt ...

Re: Helmets
Rookster, In my opinion, I would suggest that you were correctly advised that a Kettle helm is, pretty much, a safe bet for general use, for all ranks, during that period. If money isn`t an issue, then maybe a bassinet would suit your requirements better, but be prepared to pay for a good one. :twis...

Hi Brian la Zouche,
They may be a little too far north but do give these guys a shout. I`m sure you will find them very welcoming.

Veils
Hi all, I`ve recently managed to get one of "Kats Hats" torques for my daughter (second hand), it looks fantastic. It`s for use in C14th. Would anyone be able to suggest what material the veil should be made of please. Someone has mentioned chiffon but I am unsure as to its authenticity. Cheers in a...

If you feel you can trust it here`s wikipedia`s version; With wikipedia - if you see something that you know is incorrect, then you should attempt to correct it. Which I'd say is the point of the format Thank you for your comment, I`m not sure it bares any relevance to GuyDeDinan`s reques...

Re: Live Target
There`s nothing like the smell of freshly cut pine as a rubber tip (red head) snaps off on the snout of your houndskull and the rest of the shaft drives itself into your ocular slit, missing your eye by fractions of an inch.........or should that have been the smell of freshly cut sh*t....? ...

Re: WTB the following (used C12th 3rd crusade templar items)
Hi Charles 1st,
I have a few early medieval bits and bobs of armour that I might be persuaded to part with.
Please feel free to send me a p.m. and we could discuss further.

Re: Caldicot 2010 pictures
The E.M.A. event at Caldicot is open to all members of the E.M.A. and any other “medieval” group that wishes to come along and have a fun weekend in a fantastic, relaxed setting. The battle is a bit of fun and has a completely fictional theme, it has never been advertised as period specific. I`m sur...

Padded Jack
A question for the wise clothing peeps. I`m after a sleevless padded jack to go over mail, like the ones worn by archers in the late C14th to early C15th. Similar to this one; http://www.warriorsfortheworkingday.com/mountedarcherFrance.htm Does anyone know of any supliers who may be able to help? Th...

True blue baby I love you
Hi all, I was wondering if one of you knowlegable stitchy types could point me in the right direction for an authentic blue for use in linen surcoats of the C13th/C14th sort of period. And a pointer in the direction of someone, or somwhere, who may stock said coloured material, would be wonderfully ...
