My magic computer says the 2014 jersey explosives regs have no specific loophole for small amounts.... but you can get a generic loophole for anything that the Minister feels OK about.

Re: Black Powder storage advice and regulations.
Ring jersey or guernsey HSE or plod. Jersey and guernsey have their own legislator which although it often mirrors the mainland sometimes doesnt. I could tell you about it but its easier from the horses mouth.. They do have regular reenactments. You can own a machinegun on jersey. Legally. Worry mor...

Word to the wise - watch your backs! Some low-life sh** has sent an anonymous letter to my local Firearms Licensing dept. making completely unfounded and unsubstantiated accusations against myself and two others over illegal acquisition and use of black powder. Which led to an interesting interview...

Re: Who Made The Best Cannons, & Cannon Plans
Nope. Found a picture on interwebby. just got a hydraulic tube. Did some jiggery pokery at one end to block it off. You already know how to do that? then hid the hydraulic tubeness by welding a load of rings on it. Then drilled a hole. And did the legal UK stuff. it still works 15 years later. im co...

I have SEVERAL modern reproductions ... some home built.
none had "plans" as such...
Id suggest joining a group whereever you live who have cannon and talking over the local legal issues plus how they made theirs.
you dont seem to be from the UK.

Re: 2015 Law Commission 'antique' gun proposals
So its not the limited company (which was set up for financial liability nothing more bit like some reenactment groups are limited companies if you look) its still the same thing.... I still use terminology from the 80s occasionally. There are a few loopholes in the law that need to be closed. I can...

next will you be declaring as Trident is obsolete, I can have a nuclear missile under section 36...... That will make that Falklands War group very happy. However, one small slip at Detling and property values in Kent are going to plummet. But at War and Peace no one would notice. State Susidised e...

Re: 2015 Law Commission 'antique' gun proposals
What is a replica antique? You havent answered the question. Did he specifically suggest guns currently held on section1 or 2 should be classed as antiwues under section 58? It won't be as high as 58 under the new act, it'll be Sec.12 (Antiques and Obsolete Firearms) It will also include provisions...

Still. You admit yourself that putting a live firing gun on section 58 defeats the point of having a live firing gun. which was your original post. The rest of your arguments seem to be that people should be able to own lethal weaponry without question simply because other countries let them...... i...

Re: 2015 Law Commission 'antique' gun proposals
So the OP wants totake guns off of section 1 or 2 ... or at least decriminalise possession but admits that to fire the guns theyd have to be back on section 1 or 2 . At least thats what he said above. Basically he just wants to make modern replicas ownable for the unlicenced? Which they can. If they...

Re: 2015 Law Commission 'antique' gun proposals
In truth all reenactment needs is to be included in section 12 of the 1968 act. delete part of paragraph 13.69 of the home office guidance and we have it made. You would think.... but then wed be actors and actors dont get reason to own guns. The producers hire guns. The guns would still need to be ...

Simply fact is... Theres more votes for taking guns away, not in letting odd people have them. Fact of life. Get over it.youve now made it clear this is a backdoor way of getting handguns legalised and if I can see that, the the commission are going to see straight through it. equating firearm owner...
