Provisional Programme for the Day

This may be subject to major changes but we hope that the day will follow something like this:-

• Arrive at Community Hall from Friday afternoon to Saturday morning. Where you can leave things, get changed etc.
• Wedding Service at 2:00pm
• Reception starts roughly 3:30pm with nibbles/drinks.

• Some form of embarrassing speech making to follow.
• Between 5-6pm proper food - buffet style, including cutting of the cake.
• Music from 'One Little Boy' to follow (set times to be arranged)
• We welcome any help with clearing up on Sunday morning!
  
  

Dress Code

We want the day to be relaxed and happy for everyone, as such there is to be no particular dress code. As Tudor re-enactors we are going to be wearing what we feel most comfortable in - i.e. Tudor clothes. The Bridesmaids and Best Man will be in similar clothing. We'd like to encourage our re-enactor guests to come in whatever period clothing they like most, or is appropriate, but obviously this is not compulsory. This means anything goes from Ancient Greek to Twenty-First Century! This way we hope no one will feel uncomfortable or out of place.

Getting There

St Nicholas Parish Church is located in St Nicholas Way, Sutton. You can read about it here.

By Car:

Come off M25 at Junction 8, follow A217 heading into London, turn onto B2230 at the Belmont Roundabout, signed to Sutton. The B2230 is marked on the Town Centre Map.

By Rail:

Ask for Sutton London, go via Victoria or Clapham Junction. Station is marked on Town Centre Map.

Instructions for Town Centre Map:

From Station or B2230 head for Church and Hall, which is ringed and on St. Nicholas Way. For Car - note one-way system and parking. For those who need to know 39a (Ruth's Parents) is marked in the top right hand corner.
