School Presentations

Teaching about the Tudors this year?
Looking for a history lesson with a difference?
Want your children to be enthralled and amazed?

LOOK NO FURTHER!!!!!!

Tudor Travellers will bring the Tudor age alive right in front of your very eyes!! Specialising and portraying characters from the lower classes, they tell exactly what life was like in 16th Century England.

Presentations are given in line with National Curriculum Key Stages 1 & 2and are drawn and adapted from many years of working with school parties in living history situations around the country. A wide range of characters provide a fascinating insight into Tudor life.

Children are actively encouraged to converse in language of the time and to take part in varying activities ,to help bring their classroom studies alive.

A wide range of artefacts accompany a visit to give that authentic look, feel and even smell(!!) of the period and the children are able to see and touch first hand: coins, potions, furs, tools spices, weapons and even a dried frog! Perhaps if they are lucky they may even get to hold a holy relic!!!!

Each schools individual requirement is happily discussed, to ensure that the time spent with the Tudor Travellers is not only a memorable one, but more importantly, exceptionally worthwhile for the childrens learning.

Presentations are for either half or full day session, and can be given to several classes at once, or done on a repeated individual basis.

A visit from the Tudor Travellers can often give children as much enthusiasm as several weeks of classroom learning and such an opportunity should not be missed. Our rates are extremely competitive and are worked on a per head basis, enabling you to budget more easily.
