| Thank
you to Lesley for sending me these photos. She made this beautiful
gown for her 10 year old granddaughter, Michelle, for a one-off school
Tudor 'experience', which is why it had to be inexpensive. The main
gown is made from a turquoise curtain and the puff sleeves are stuffed
with polyester. The farthingale and bum-roll are made from curtain
lining and the hoops are made from parcel strapping and curtain wire.
The ruff is made from net curtain doubled over with a channel sewn along
the middle which has elastic along it. |
