The Magazine's Aims
The Magazine hopes to provide all new and established writers the chance to air their veiws on Britain in the Medieval Period (1000 - 1500ad). This enables those readers, such as teachers, students, wargamers etc. to have current, 'cutting edge' theories of the period, as well as a wide range of previously unpublished resources. |
For those wishing to submit articles etc., please send either hard-copies to the address above, or .txt/word pc files to cottatt@aol.com.
The writers of all articles used will recieve a complimentary copy of the issue their article appears in. If we can not use an article, we will write and tell you why, both editors are expeirenced free-lance writers, and, as with everyone at The Medievalist/Thinking Cap Press, sharing knowledge is far more important that profit. At the moment, we are asking £5 per issue or £15 for a four-issue subscription. We allow complete photocoping of the magazine for non-commercial reasons, so only one copy per re-enactment group etc. is needed, (it happens anyway, we just thought we'ed make it legal in our case.) At the moment, the magazine is quarterly, with enough interest/articles we could go bi-monthly, or even monthly....it's you magazine as much as it is ours. We hope to bring out other magazines in the future as well, covering differant periods, so let us know your thoughts. |
