We are the Red October Society and we enjoy re enacting scenes from the history of the late 20th century battle of superpowers, their satellite states and proxy wars such as Vietnam and the Soviet occupation of Afghanistan. |

We are a non-political group and inclusive of all points of view. We are respectful of the people who participated and died in the many conflicts of the Cold War and we in no way promote or congratulate the oppressive regimes we recreate. We do promote the preservation of the culture and the memory of the many struggles of this dangerous period of history.

Our aim is to recreate some of the conflicts of this period by reproducing the uniforms and equipment, airsoft skirmishing and range firing period weaponry and generally discussing the many aspects of Cold War cultures.
