Costs
£3 for short poems under 6 lines. £6 for normal length under 30 lines. £10 for poems 30 - 40 lines then 50p for any extra lines. so 41 lines would cost 10.50 Extra can be added if i feel it's a complex request to write or you ask for a specific style, you explain, all quotes are free of charge. Terms and conditions. I recieve your initial query and will tell you if i'm going to do it. If i agree i'll send you the terms and conditions by post for you to sign. Read them and if you accept sign and send payment. Once payment is recieved and conditions are signed you are legally bound and i can start the project. (There is no refund as if you read the poetry you could just say you don't want it and ask for money back and keep it anyway. If i'm struggling and you keep on asking for new drafts and i feel that the finished product won't be of good top quality, i can ask you if you want a refund, you can't request one.)However i will work on your project for as long as it takes for you to be satisfied at no extra cost. I am proud of my poetry and will only write quality poems, if i don't think you'll be satisfied with it then i won't accept the job in the first place. I will keep in contact with you all the way providing you send SAES (first or second) or by email free of course. If you live near me you can meet to discuss. You suggest at each stage what you don't like or whats wrong with it and keep on changing it, until complete as many times as you want at no extra cost. Once you are satisfied with the final product you have a few options. I'll type it up on paper (or hand write it) and will try and present it with a clipart or something (no extra cost) although don't expect anything fancy as i'm a poet not an artist or page designer. You can have sent via email. You can have it signed by me. I can write it on anything you provide me with. You can type it up yourself, or have it sent by disk(which you provide) and if you really want i can personally read it onto a tape (again you supply). Any other suggestion is welcome. This is the important bit, I'm selling you the poem, you're free to use it how you want, you can tell people or whoever it was written for that you wrote it, I don't care what you do with it. However the poem is copyrighted in my name as i copyright everything i send, so as long as you don't make finicial gain then thats cool. If you display it publicly ie on internet sites then you can do so, providing you say copyright belongs to John Pallister. All details sent to me will be confidential and will not be shared with third parties without your permission. Your poem will be unique and you will be the first person to read it, however if at a later date i want to publish it, i have the right to do so. If it becomes famous you can write to me and i'll send you a signed copy of the poem free of charge even if you already requested it to be signed. I will also with your permission for the press will put any background information on the poem (who it was written for etc, what it means) and your contact details. It will be just the poem i can choose to publish, although if full names (not first names) or companies are used then i will get permission off the relevant people and pay royalties for the privelage. Songwriting i do as well at the same costs but e-mail me as the terms and conditions are slightly different as you'll probably be expecting to make money out of it. I accept payments in cheque or postal order, and by cash, although i want a stamp from the post office to say the money was included. |

My mate also is an artist and he will produce art for you at more expensive costs (but still reasonable.) Although he does it by himself and it is not my responability you can e-mail Alex on almodapperdapper@yahoo.co.uk. He'll be happy to send you free copies of his work free (minus saes etc).
Also i have recently got hold of a celebrity address book and my favourite music artists/bands might be able to sign my work, if they think it's good enough, i'll be selling an original signed poem by a celebrity as bids and the photocopies for a price yet to be decided.
