GREAT WAR TALKS

An Artifact based interactive talk which will allow you to experience original and authentic uniforms and equipment as worn, carried and used by the British and commonwealth Army's of 1914-18.
The talk will include actual relics from the battlefield as well as maps and diagrams . We will give a full insight into the life of the British soldier from the food he ate and the weapons he carried. You can even try on a full set of equipment! This talks will take you through the full life of a “Tommy” in ww1 from 1914 to 1918 with a stiff cap (explain what this means) and a regular soldier and thier experiences of gas ,tanks and flamethrowers . The talks cover a multitude of great war topics. Should the group require elements such as how an old comrade looked and dressed, this can be arranged and incorporated in to the talk.
