The Regency Dancers

The Regency Dancers of Hampshire exist to celebrate
the social and popular dances of the Jane Austen's
time (1775-1817)

We meet twice a month to learn the Quadrilles,
Cotillions and Country dances danced by
everyone at this time and we are available for private
and public functions, filming and events across
Southern England and London.

Bringing dances of the late 18th and early 19th c. to life!

Dance workshops (for all ages) are held fortnightly in
Winchester on the first and thrid Wednesday of the
month - you don't even need a partner, so why not
come and learn to impress your Lady or Gentleman
at a ball!

For period balls, weddings, living history events and education

As well as learning the dances of the era, we also
look at fashions and manners of the time and
arrange trips to museums and organise walks around
Jane Austen's village of Chawton. There are also
opportunities to visit Regency dance related events
throughout the year, both in the UK and abroad!
