Pioneer Living History Club

The Pioneer Living History and Re-enactment Club was formed in 2002 to enable members to live and dress of the period 1840-1890.
We provide a living display of the wild west and all our costumes are made to the finest detail using materials as near as possible to those used in this time.

19th century re-enactors

Our living history display comprises of a family living and working in a prairie schooner. Another family live in a shack made from wood and furnished with items of the era obtained from fanily heirlooms, while some of our members live under canvas.

Re-living past times

With around 30 members we attend historical events around the country. Our members have a large collection of 19th century weaponry and these are used in our re-enactment shows to a great extent. Our ladies show their talents in creating recipes of the time and also use their needlework skills in making rugs, clothing and other necessary items.
