Why this happened?

The peasants standed up for themself bacause simply they did not want to pay poll taxes 1377,1379and now 1381. every one over 15 had to pay 4 pence whick was about 2000 pound now they were poor as well. The prists confinst them taht we are as equal thers but we are not treated equaly.th peasants were very angery about this. when the king tax collector came they said they were not going to pay and then they killled two of the kings helpers that were with the tax collector. Than a judge came becuse they ha killed the the judge helpers as well.The Peasants marched down to London with a leader called wat tyler to put things right. when they came they killed the bishop of canterbury. then the king stopped them and said " What do you want" the leader watt Tyler said "we do not want top pay poll taxes and we do not want to be treated differently. the king said o.k then now go home. Then soilder killed wat Tyler from behind and the peasants did not carry on after this.
