The MCS - Who are we

The Medieval Combat Society (MCS) is a 14th Century tournament reenactment group. The object of the Society is to have fun whilst entertaining the Public and generate an interest in British history. The MCS is a member of the Early Medieval Alliance (EMA). We are a fun, friendly, family orientated society with some families of 3 generaions taking part, and roles for members of all ages.

The MCS - What do we do

Members enjoy a wide range of activities such as foot combat, archery, dancing, banqueting, historical visits, living history, practice sessions, costume making, or almost anything Medieval that members wish to try.

The MCS - Who can join

The society welcomes both male and female members to take part in all activities, including combat and become knights. If you can think of a medieval role you can probably play it from king to beggar. The non choreographed Medieval Reenactment combat looks dangerous but squires often train for several years to attain a high level of skill.
