How we do it!

Thanks to the magic of electronic wizardry, we achieve a comparable sound to a conventional band, only using one instrument and even with the Caller, there are only two of us!
This has two distinct advantages for you; firstly, we do not take up much space, so you can fit in more dancers; secondly, the cost is significantly less than a larger band. The dance steps are really easy; so you needn't worry about not being able to understand them. It doesn't matter if you have no experience, because we specialise in entertaining people who have never done this sort of thing before. The Caller explains everything very clearly, everyone gets it right, so a good time is had by all! We play traditional English dance tunes, many of which have been around since the 1700s. Generations of your ancestors have probably danced to and enjoyed this music, now its your turn! This is still a very popular form of entertainment and you will have no difficulty in pursuading others to join in. All ages can participate so this is just the thing for a family party. It is good excercise but not too violent for those of more mature years! As the session progresses, the caller will gradually introduce new movements, to add to the simple ones that were taught at the begining. By the time it finishes, everybody will be quite proficient and having a wonderful and enjoyable time! |
