St Ambrose, Prague 1360-1364 Convnt of St Agnes, Prague

Interesting point for me here is the quills - trimmed just like Jorge taught us :D
The painting next to this one was more interesting - a man, also at his writing desk with a fine set of quills and a horn inkpot resplendeny in a red hat - St Gregory the Great  (but not available as a postcard :( )

"trimmed just like Jorge taught us'

of course

You might note on the pens strapped up one is golden/yellow colour that could be:

a reed

but I actually suspect

a brass pen, made to resemble a feather quill, basically rolled brass shim with a shaped nib and slit, often with a scoop at the end. This is more tapered than a writing reed is (they are quite parallel). If it is one then it is the first I have seen portrayed, the MOL has two in its collection, so they exist alright but it is nice to see them (possibly) in a painting too.

In his bookcase he also has possibly a girdle book, basically a book wtih boards but an additional soft layer which doubles as a cover, and loose handle, theoretically used to loop through the girlde to carry the book.

Nice picture Craig, any more?

That's it - I specifically picked up postcards of images that had interested me as I went round - unfortunately there are many that they just didn't have
- trumpet and shawm ensemble
- numerous kit ideas - cloth/linen belt was one that stood out
- one rosary on the belt - and that was a cleric of some sort
- a shield and flag combo with a tweed-like check pattern (most of what I see around is plain so I like seeing patterns!)

I hope to go back sooner rather than later :D
