Moment in Time Living History Group

Postby Moment in Time » Fri Jan 07, 2011 11:05 pm

Moment in Time has been launched, after a number of years listening to what members, sponsors and the public would like Moment in Time has been launched onto the scene.
There are a number of events that we will be attending this year where you can come and find us and chat and more information can be found at our website: http://www.mitlivinghistory.co.uk
Membership is open to individuals and groups, portraying any period and any role. We have P.L.I. to cover all activities apart from battle scenario's, with the main emphasis on Living History camps, Drill Displays, Firing Displays, Demonstrations and talks.
We are also planning a couple of small multi - period events these details again can be found on the website.
There is also a possibility of accomodating traders at our own events.

All enquiries in the first instance please mail to info@mitlivinghistory.co.uk or P.M.

We have been running for nearly a year now and members have appeared at events in all parts of the country as far North as the Borders with Scotland, Wales, and as far south as Kent.

We approach our second year and would like to say thank you to those who have supported us over the last year, there are too many to list but you know who you are. From advice to invites to events, it is satisfying to be part of a superb community of people.

If you would like to try something different in historical portrayal, as part of a group covering many periods, ideas, come and have a look at us.
You can be the Lord of the Manor, the peasant, the General, the lowly foot soldier, a Dark Age warrior, the mechanised cavalry of WW2, a craftsman, a labourer ... the list goes on. Our only criteria is that what you portray is faithful and accurate to the impression portrayed and within the Laws of the Land.
