The E.M.A. is again at Caldicot Castle, on 10/11 September, with set up on Friday 9 September.
The event is open to all medieval groups, with room for both living history and plastic camping.
There will be our usual mix of activities, including Archery Display, historical firearms demonstration and a full scale battle for ownership of the Castle.
Famous for it's party atmosphere, the event will focus on some end of season fun for the re-enactors. I understand a theme has already been suggested for the Saturday evening.
Members of the EMA are also invited to attend the Annual General Meeting. This is not an onerous undertaking; we try to make it as painless as possible. However, if your group is a member of the EMA it would be good if a representative or two or even three could attend to give your input. After all it is your EMA, and unless you tell us what you would like to see happening, we shall continue doing what we are currently doing.
All re-enactors who wish to come to Caldicot should register by e-mailing me at
Ann@TheEMA.co.uk. If you have already contacted me I will be e-mailing out the registration form in the next few days.
For any traders wishing to join us please contact Jackie Phillips,
Jackie@TheEMA.co.uk, for more details.
Thank you
Ann
