Re-enactment Group and Artisan crafts wanted Leicestershire

Melton Mowbray Country Fair 26th June 2011 10am - 5pm Camping available overnight on Sat but toilets in local pubs only.

We are looking for
---Re-enactment group to replace our wonderful Vikings who have attended the last two years. Change needed for visitors.
---Artisan craftsmen and women in costume as well as those willing to run workshops
---Period music
---Cook, Apothecary, Barber Surgeon for demonstation/talk

Outdoor event with limited space in marquee - those with own shelter will be provided with a pitch easily.
Insurance and risk assessment required
We are a not for profit social enterprise with a tiny budget but would hope to offer a small amount towards expenses if you require.

Artisan craftmen and women needed:
Wood carving
Armoury and maille work
Hooper/Cooper
Wainwright
Millinery
Pottery
Cordwainer
Corn Work
Needlework
Weaving
Calligraphy
Painting
Blacksmith/Farrier
Candlemaking
Leatherwork
Bow making
Stonework

A lot of folk I know are busy on that date as Kentwell Hall has their annual great recreation of Tudor life. Try ggoling "The Tudor Market", "The Original Reenactors Market", and "The International Living History Fair" which will give you a load of contact details.
