Salute for Heroes, 24-25 July

Hi all

Re-enactor groups, individuals and traders not yet busy over the weekend of 24-25 July might like to consider helping out a worthy cause - Help for Heroes by taking part in Salute for Heroes at Glemham Hall, nr. Woodbridge, Suffolk. The show is a Classical Greek to World War II extravaganza with battles, skirmishes, living history etc (over 1000 re-enactors already confirmed)... and much more, plus WWII aircraft (Grace Spitfire, 2 Mustangs and the Sally B Flying Fortress), modern military displays, various bands, motorcycle/dog/equestrian and other displays, plus sideshows, traders, beer tent etc. With the combination of blanket publicity from the East Anglian Daily Times group and an extremely popular charitable cause, around 40,000 visitors are expected.

In addition to more re-enactors, we are also looking for 18+ aged volunteer stewards and other members of staff to help keep this great event ticking over.
