Easter at Warwick Castle

Postby katiepoppycat » Fri Mar 19, 2010 8:46 am

Hi all, Just a quick reminder to all that Easter at Warwick Castle is, for the 15C bit, an L&M event. If you are not in an L&M group we can't accomodate you I'm afraid. I think the FED are doing Kenilworth this year so lots of opportunities for all!!

Cheers

Are Fed groups invited as guests like last year?

If you have read your Feb 2010 News letter from the FED you would know that it is an invite event, if you wish to go, you need to get in touch with Allan ASAP so he can let L&M know that your group wishes to go.

This is Darren from L&M committee. (Using my wife's login). No 15th century groups outside of L&M are invited to Warwick. I'm afraid anyone who turns up from any other group will be refused entry. The Fed newsletter is incorrect.

The February Newsletter from the Fed was sent out befroe these facts were known. Sorry but there was a breakdown in communication

Groups who expressed an interest in Warwick have been contacted.

Thanks for letting us know guys. I'd booked into Kenilworth anyway, but it's good to know the big picture.

It's a shame as we were loking forward to attending. A little bit of miscommunication I'm afraid but I hope that this will not halt future invites for the WOTRF members. Its such a nice start to the year to have a full (and for some the only) 4 day event.
We will be cooking at Kenilworth, another superb venue and our newbies will be adding to the throng on the field. Have a great event which ever one you do.
