It all depends if you want proper Jousting ( go for Destrier ) or just fancy dressage

And what level of entertainment you want.

The contact jousting a-la Destrier is of course more authentic etc, but the fancy dress jousters can usually be more entertaining. (more speed, and less waiting)

Just my thought after watching both types, and both types have their place.
Young men have often been ruined through owning horses, or through backing them, but never through riding them: unless of course they break their necks, which, taken at a gallop, is a very good death to die

Destrier pro is the professional side of Destrier, but don't forget its an amateur group too, and hiring the amateur side is much cheaper (basically paying for horse hire and balsa etc.). The chair of Destrier reenactment is Nathan, on Nathan Bale at hot mail dot com (all one word).

OR OF COURSE Mr Griffin if you want the absolute best

griffin historical into google does the job
There’s a country in Europe where they treat their ex soldiers with pride no waits for medical treatment after injuries received during service, no amensia from the government. Cant for the life of me recall where it is but I know exactly where it is not.

Just spotted this, ta Nige!
http://www.griffinhistorical.com. A delicious decadent historical trifle. Thick performance jelly topped with lashings of imaginative creamy custard. You may also get a soggy event management sponge finger but it won't cost you hundreds and thousands.
