Hi, these are the first and only staffs in my collection, they feel really nice. Although the spear looks a little bit large and the roncone does seem smaller the proportions were very well met.
Here are a few impressions, guard duty in the yard, awaiting the charge and behind the shield (this is an oval tabulaccio, that I am working on at the moment).

Indeed it would, but this is the project for next year. This year I started growing the vegetables. The previous owner of the garden didn´t do anything for years.
Although, I must admit, the feel is nice when walking around bare footed on the this "lawn styled moss".
Yeah. it needs maille. And I HAVE maille. Unfortunately the actual Aketon /Arming Doublet thing is too thick to allow maille below the very narrow waisted breat and fauld. But I have a thinner version in order. Hope this will work then.
