Used and Second-Hand Books

I have been looking to set-up as a trader in used and second-hand books (historical fact and fiction etc.). I have so far only sold at book markets, internet etc. but have more books than I could possibly shake a stick at the mo. Can anyone point me in the right direction as to how one goes about trading and possibly try my hand at one of the Med. markets.
As a reenactor I have a pretty good idea as to the type of books that sell and have plenty of them. Just wondering if anyone could help me take this venture a little further. Many thanks

The tax office do surprisingly friendly day courses for free about book keeping and setting up small businesses. I would recommend that as a good start point to taking the selling more seriously.

Many thanks for your advice,Lucy, can anyone tell me who would offer the best insurance and how I go about joining a traders organisation, any information at this point would be fab. as up to now I have only sold books as a hobby really, but I now find that the hobby is becoming preferable to the daily nine-to-five. National Market Traders -historic branch is a good bet for many of us and covers the necessary legal stuff, it doesnt however cover you for online trading which may be a consideration

If selling any way other than through a market, try the Federation of Small Businesses.
