Looks really good, very informative about the products, something that is missing from some other sites, you really need to know what you are spending you're hard earned cash on, will it actually do the job? (unlike some sites that will casually mention that this sword is for SCA, LARP, Re-enacment, YEAH RIGHT)
very good Sir, very good indeed
Now if only you had this up a few weeks ago before I spent all my cash at TORM
"God said love thy neighbour as untoo thy self, unless they are Turkish, in which case, KILL THE B**TARDS!"
Are you using the OS Commerce product? cos I've had no end of problems with ours.......ie payments coming through with no idea of what the order is.....we get there in the end due to tracking the customer down via the telephone but longwinded.......be very careful and i hope you find it more user friendly than we have.
Very very minor things:
On shipping and returns page "All items under 2KG are sent Royalmail." Should be small kg and Royal Mail is 2 words. Also no actual shipping rates as yet.
As I said, really minor!
Dance like nobody's watching, love like you've never been hurt.
basically you're bolloxed omae, someone has stolen your web site while you were trying on that fancy new harness. Let this be a lesson to you. Be as a merchant and make money not as a knight and make war - Lorenzo D' Medici.
Can you put a pic on the front page?
I followed your link, saw nothing of interest and left. It's only because the others commented I went back for a second look.
It actually says on that front page this site is not yet active please come back tomorrow.....not very welcoming........
Also, the thumbnails on the menu pages (I only looked at the "weapons" page) are different sizes, which shifts the position of the text box underneath and makes it look like some are not working properly.
It looks good, and having pictures of absolutely everything is good, but you need a big, friendly front end.
The "life" pictures work better for me - where you have someone actually holding or wearing the kit. Perhaps you could do a set of posed shots wearing as much of the kit as you can, or a couple of complete kits (eg, a huscarl, a clanky, an archer etc). Kind of saying with the first page, "we can kit your whole battlefield out"
Why is the scutum listed under 'Suits of Armour'...or do they come in pairs, front and back?
And why are 'HELMETS', 'LEGS' and 'AXES' all listed in capital letters? Is Brian Blessed selling them?
It'd be nice if you stopped calling it chainmail too.
Oh, and that's not a 'scramasax'...it's a seax.
The listing system seems a bit odd. It starts with a type (AXES) then goes to a specific ethnicity (English), then a period (Medieval...big bloody period)....so is something listed under axes not to be viewed as English or medieval?
Either break it down by weapon type or time period.
Layouts nice though, and I like the colour scheme.
Think i've fixed some of the errors now.
Hit computer really hard and now it listens a little bit to me.
But seriously keep the coments coming, i want to get this user friendly
Off fighting for my son again Thursday Friday so wont get much done.
Heather swears at me when i ask her to do it.
Thats a different subject though...
