Have 350 photos, and not enough webspace :P Only posted 70 odd.

Wait until they all load, and you'll be able to navigate through them with 'lightbox'

((images with file name less that 290 are saturday, others are sunday, and thanks to caz for taking them while I was fighting! :) ))

edit: changed the filename to html, so if you bookmarked the page, you'll need to change it.

Ahh - I can't save them onto my computer!

Whixh is a real shame because I think they're great!

And they also go to show for the umpteenth time (and I know Annis will agree) that re-enacting men are by far the of the better looking variety!

Battle of Champion

Postby Adrian the Teuton » Mon Jul 09, 2007 4:49 pm

Carl,
A great battle of Champions in the middle of the show, my girlfriend was in the crowd and where we stood and fought she said the entire crowd's eyes were on us. Great fun hope to see you soon.

Just got to see them with lightbox, wow!
Magic ones of Nobby and Jonny, Kurt, Bucket, Peat, The Hussite mob. Some fantastic portraits there too. You (and Caz) are clever bunnies.

Adrian,

the entire crowd's eyes were on us.

And for once I wasn't doing it for the crowd (other than to draw attention away from the ambulance).

my girlfriend was in the crowd

Not that I'm vain or anything (who me?) but did she get any photos?

Indeed, a great fight, and as ever a great joy.

Look forward to seeing you again soon.

Carl,
Yes t'was good, I shall have a look on her camera tonight and see what she has. We must meet up and have a chat some time, without trying to kill each other. By the way do you know who the chap is who had a black great helm, I had a wonderful fight with him after the Teutons and Whittinghams broke through the Yorkist line at the end of Sunday's Battle.

Adrian,

A black great helm? That must have been Keith from Order of Fighting Knights.

I will send you a PM.
