Just checked my Stig of the Dump, was printed in 1971, first printed 1963. That's old It's nice to look back through all my dad's books actually, all the old favourites like' One Hundred Million Francs' and 'The Night the Water Came' and 'Tom's Midnight Garden' bring back so many memories.
Most of the books that I've bought in the past years have been non-fiction, bar Tristram Shandy and Gulliver's travels!
Well as long as you aren't dog eared, and don't have a floppy cover with missing pages, then I'm sure you count as new
