I have the following things I would like to sell:
£25 each - 2 light single handed spears - overall length is 2ms; spearhead length is 16 cms.
£10 - 1 light single handed spear shaft - length is 220 cms.
£35 - 1 heavy Late Medieval glaive with thick leather around the shaft, immediately underneath glaive head - overall length is 230 cms; glaive head is 62 cms long.
£20 - 1 Early Medieval Saxon/ Viking combat-safe scramasax with leather scabbard (with loops to attach on to belt) - overall length is 34 cms; length of blade is 21.5 cms. With a wooden decorated handle.
£15 each - 2 sharp and hand forged (with hammer marks) Early Medieval Saxon/ Viking eating knives with leather scabbards and leather suspension loops - overall length of longer knife is 22 cms in length; length of blade is 10 cms. Slightly shorter knife has an overall length of 20 cms; length of blade is 11 cms. Wooden handles on both. These were copied from Jorvik Viking excavations.
If anyone's interested in the above, we can deliver the larger objects to Tewkesbury Medieval Festival on Sunday 15th July only or please pick up from us in Gloucester. The smaller items - the scramasax and eating knives can be sent by post - we can confirm packaging costs.
