*NEW* Red Coats and Revolution (1775-83)

Postby kael » Fri Mar 02, 2012 3:23 pm

New American War of Independence society starting in Leicester.

In the first instance we will portray His Majesty's 17th Regiment of Foot and civilians who may or may not be Dutch smugglers for the continentals...

We are at the early stages of development, but we are attending events in 2013.

We are holding our regular monthly meetings on the first Thursday of the month at the Regent Club in Leicester at 8.30pm.

If you are interested, or know anyone who might be, take a look at our Facebook Group or our Website.

Also, thanks very much to all those re-enactors who have shown us a tremendous amount of good will, the help from all quarters has been astonishing.

Hi there, good luck with your project.
We're in the 47th so will greatly look forward to seeing you all on the field.

Also, if you need a hand with kit and stuff?
SJ and I supply clothing, leatherwork and accoutrements to quite a few 18h century groups.
Have a look at our website and FB page. If we can help, please do let us know.

We hope to have our first meeting on Sunday 1st April in Leicester (venue/time tbc, probably early evening). To keep up to date on the time and whereabouts take a look at our Facebook Page.

We'd like to share our outline for events, aims & objectives and our deals with suppliers etc. :)

Well, they're not just in Leicester now! Reds and Revs first Wiltshire member :D

Plus, it's a good excuse to bump this up the list as well...
