Luftwaffe Re-enactment

Postby nachtjäger » Sat Aug 20, 2011 10:17 pm

The Luftwaffe Airfield Re-enactment Group is currently recruiting both air and groundcrew.

The Luftwaffe Airfield Re-enactment Group was formed in 2005, when a small group of collectors/re-enactors came together to display alongside a 3/4 scale Fieseler Storch at airshows around the country. We display at a number of shows/events each year portraying various Luftwaffe air units on a simulated Luftwaffe airfield, using original equipment, uniforms, and specially made props. We have a good working relationship with historic aircraft owners and have been fortunate to display alongside many restored Luftwaffe aircraft, both in the UK and Europe.
We primarily represent the Staff flight of the third Gruppe of Jagdgeschwader 26, one of two fighter units stationed on the Channel coast throughout the war.

If any one is interested in joining, please see our website:- www.luftwaffeairfieldre-enactmentgroup.org.uk
