[i]Haddlesey Medieval Fayre
Saturday 8th September 10.00 – 5.00
Please come and join us
Entry is free but some activities will be charged; all proceeds will be donated to Martin House Children’s Hospice
The day will start with a parade, with everybody dressed in medieval costume, from Haddlesey Church Hall (YO8 8QT) to the Fayre ground next door to the George and Dragon (YO8 8QA)
On the field there will be a marquee with a bar selling “real ale” and a hog roast. There will be various stalls including cakes, strawberries and cream, hats, jewellery, plants, pickles, cards, bric-a-brac and a tombola.
If you would like a pitch for your stall the cost will be £15 – contact Janet Jackson at the email address below.
There will be lots of activities, games and competitions to take part in including archery, a bucking bronco, a ducking stool and stocks, a bouncy castle, face painting, huge garden games, a medieval crossword and “design a shield”.
There will also be a falconry display, a re-enactment and a fantastic medieval stall selling authentic clothes and paraphernalia.

where is this please ?
There’s a country in Europe where they treat their ex soldiers with pride no waits for medical treatment after injuries received during service, no amensia from the government. Cant for the life of me recall where it is but I know exactly where it is not.

It's just off the A19 between Selby and the M62, turn off at the Reliant / Mini garage.
