Chillingham castle

we are holding a medieval weekend at chillingham castle on 18/19. august 2012 with the Lanark weekend cancelled i hope that some of the re-enactors will come to this event we will have trade stands and a medieval village plus displays

i know its a pity but we are trying to have an event in the north so that people dont have to travel that far i hope that as many people will support this event i will put on a campsite for visitors

we are hoping to make chillingham castle a three times a year event may june and august the castle is a wonderful setting we intend to have activities both inside the castle and outside

Others are in discussion with

also I checked out the website -- Dags are not welcome !! whats the story for groups that have dag's ?
I might be in the gutter....but I'm still looking up at the takeaway !.

Was up over the weekend for a plannign meeting and it all looks great

Excellent site good access water wood etc sorted

i have decided to wave the fee for traders attending this event as it is our first medieval event at the castle this event will be on a different date next year to avoied clashing with other events we have already strated to advertise the event and expect a footfall of at least 2000 contact me on 07803249275

We did it excellent event which almost escapted the rain which we suspect was chasing us around the borders :D

I think we all enjoyed ourselves and the venue is superb
