This is a world heritage site and it is also where the Coal House programme was filmed.

Re-enactors welcome and 40`s vehicles
No Allgemeine allowed on site

There is no admission fee for public at this event

Well the plan for the event is coming along nicely

We are at The Blaenavon Iron Works just on the outside of the town

its where the Coal House programme was filmed and we have the use of the houses

We are also using the foundry buildings
Cadw is very excited about this event and are hoping to build on it at this site and other sites around Wales

Blaenavon town is trying to put a town event on so there is a dance on Sat night in town and other things are going on around and about

On Saturday night, Blaenavon Workmen’s Hall hosts a 1940s dance with the Dave Barry Band. Tickets are £10 and can be booked via the World Heritage Centre on 01495 742333.

but back on to Defence on Blaenavon.

No BB Guns allowed on site.

Unless Booked in with Organisers the Carrying of Weapons around and on Entry to this Site is Strictly Prohibited


Walking Displays who entry the Show at the gate will not be allowed to entry the show with any form of WEAPON on there person

Applications accepted are at the discretion of the organisers.
