Brilliant weekend, many thanks to the organisers and congrats on raising so much money for Help for Heroes.

Anyone posted any pictures yet? Looking forward to seeing the stuff I missed, that and trying to spot myself getting pummeled in the War of The Roses Battle and the Fantasy Battle. =)

Well who do i THANK first
Well its like making a cake you gather all the ingredents together, you get a good strong bowl you put all the ingredents together in that bowl and that is how Fortress Wales was a sucess by all the different groups, traders and vehicle owners.
then you cook it and put the icing on and the icing is the battles, areana displays, the walking displays and the encampments
Then you put the decorations on it Castle, Groups, Traders, Vehicles and each individual person that attended and put a 100% into it and you end up with FORTRESS WALES 2012

I thoroughly enjoyed it, and thought it was very well organised, thankyou Wish I'd been awake enough on Saturday night to sort out getting the generator switched off, but a big thanks to Wendy for sorting it for the Sunday Also a big thanks to the tractor driver who tirelessly pulled people out of the mud on Monday, and sat patiently waiting for the next one. It was reassuring to know we would be able to get off site regardless.
My only suggestion for improvement would be to put all the traders in one place in future, maybe in time-line order or something. Already looking forward to next year, and hoping it's at Caldicot again

Set up day Saturday 4 May
Show open to public Sunday the 5th and Monday the 6th May
You can stay on site till 2pm Tuesday 7th May
