My father has become obsessed with capturing muszzle flash; I've got hundreds of images of cannons.

It's something I'm trying for too, except that I have deleted hundreds of images of cannons. I have exactly one excellent one (not on this computer, may remember to post it later).

One of my bugbears: people who post rubbish pictures on-line because they can't be bothered to cull them. And then the rest of us have to find the good ones for ourselves by working our way through blurry pictures, more of people's backs, tiny dots in the distance that might be something interesting... That doesn't apply to photosm, of course: excellent shots.
