All here in colour folks.

Please note Max (or is it Paddy) from Phoenix Nights doing a bit of moonlighting as a chicken tamer.

i take it Neil was jealous of the floppy hat, hence the avian appendage :)

No the ugly growth appeared on the chicken's leg, very strange.

We had to amputate, it wasn't pretty.

TJ - cheese is good for you

Next picture is bird free.

But should be entitled:

Local lad robbed at knife point by chubby, floppy hat wearing thieves.

And the knife was real and really poking into little Ben's neck, he started giggling so I poked him a bit and in this one he isn't giggling. There is a sequence of them basically Mike and I talking to him telling him that laughing could be unhealthy.

*Note - no one was hurt during this photoshoot, although Little Ben did complain of a tingly neck for a bit

I heard the story about the chicken on the toilet door when Jonathon was trying to take a sh*t?

Didn't they invade your tents as well?

No, they 'invaded' Mick Coggins' tent, on a regular basis, even on the last day one tried to elope with him in his car, it had ahem 'hopped' in.

Mind Mick also had geese and Toads, the geese were persuaded but the toads were uninvited, really funny and Mick was a good sport and even wore a feather from one of his 'fowl' conquests.

But Jonathan needed to have the chickens shifted from near his tent, he couldn't stand the noise, so one night when they were roosting we gently chicken-napped them and relocated them, but I think they returned.

The chicken with the Neil-like growth on its feet had spent a good half hour sat in my lap all nice and quiet, it had quite a fright waking up to that excess of flesh on its claws
