Hi everyone, and Happy New Year!
Yesterday we headed to the ancient landscape of Brocton Coppice in Cannock Chase, Staffordshire, for a photoshoot and dress-rehearsal in preparation for the coming year's events. Lugging all the kit to the top of the Bronze Age barrow was tough work, and we got pretty wind-blasted during the shoot, but it was a useful exercise to determine what more needs to be done before the events season. We feel we're well on the way to being ready, and hope displays like those shown will be sufficiently impressive to capture the public's imaginations and interest.
(for more information on the kit or location see the full report here)
Wes þu hal to everyone, and here's hoping 2012 will be a great year for Living History and Reenactment!
