4and20blackbirds at Holkham Hall

Postby bonnacon » Wed Dec 07, 2011 4:57 pm

Our first Victorian cooking outing and we spent two full days in the kitchens of Holkham Hall in Norfolk - raised game pies, jumbles, bridecake, preserved fruits, lemon ice cream, cinnamon ice cream, assorted sandwiches, mince pies (Mrs Beeton's recipe of course) and Christmas pud !

Loads more piccies on our facebook page.

And what a hard working lot you were. Being a Queen is a doddle in comparison!

Go on - post a piccie of your Queen visiting the kitchens - you know you want to!
