We have just finished making this 17th century chair for the living history village at Little Woodham http://www.littlewoodham.org.uk
. It was based on and amalgam of several pieces in the V & A and is part of a series of items of furniture that include settles, table, benches, beds (truckle and plain). As we are a company that teaches vulnerable adults carpentry we were especially pleased as it was made by one of our trainees.
Better keep listening. Might be a bit about 'Blessed are the big noses.'
