My burgundian kit

Postby boudhewein » Sat Apr 30, 2011 3:16 pm

For some time now I'm slowly getting my stuff together to portray a burgundian. Latest additions are a sallet, a mailstandard made by myself and a cote sewn by myself. I'm planning to use it as a bowman and maybe in the future as a coutilier.

And a bit off topic

A celtic/gaul kit, also homemade

Hello there! As I said before, nice kit. And good to hear you're aspiring to become a coutilier. You're learning to ride, then?

Hee Alex,

You know what I said about learning to ride. Would love to but adding that to our ever growing list of things we want to do......

Here is a picture from last weekend at Sterckshof (Antwerpen, Belgium). It was 30+ degrees celsius, and you can see the heat has gotten to me.

Excellent kit. Quite the sewing skills too. Post more pics when you get them.

Excellent kit sir. I know what you mean about Sterckshof (Antwerpen, Belgium), I was there for the medieval event last year and I was wishing I had a linen doublet.
