napoleonic french prisoners

Postby bmht » Thu May 03, 2007 11:01 am

Does any one have any links for researching French Napoleonic prisoners of war held in mid Wales, Welshpool and the employment of them as labour on local farms and estates?
We have a lot of estate walling, sheep pens etc which are credited to prisoners and would like to research this aspect of our restoration project please see www.bmheritagetrust.co.uk for details
Any links to groups who might be interested in this as a living history project or promotional photo event etc?
Thanks
